Stalking

Stalking is where a person becomes obsessed and fixated on another. It is persistent and unwanted attention that makes you feel scared and harassed,. It is important to know stalking is a criminal offence, if you go to the police they will take it seriously.

Signs of stalking

You may be being stalked if someone is:

  • Damaging your property.
  • Making threats towards yourself or your loved ones.
  • Spying on you, either in person or online.
  • Following you, either in person or online stalking.
  • Giving you unwanted gifts.

These acts may seem small when taken in isolation but make up a consistent pattern of behaviour towards a victim that can be frightening.
