Stalking
Stalking is where a person becomes obsessed and fixated on another. It is
persistent and unwanted attention that makes you feel scared and harassed,.
It is important to know stalking is a criminal offence, if you go to the
police they will take it seriously.
Signs of stalking
You may be being stalked if someone is:
- Damaging your property.
- Making threats towards yourself or your loved ones.
- Spying on you, either in person or online.
- Following you, either in person or online stalking.
- Giving you unwanted gifts.
These acts may seem small when taken in isolation but make up a consistent pattern of behaviour towards a victim that can be frightening.
We can support you through our helpline if you believe that you or a loved one are experiencing domestic abuse, so please give us a call if you need guidance.
