Stalking is where a person becomes obsessed and fixated on another. It is persistent and unwanted attention that makes you feel scared and harassed,. It is important to know stalking is a criminal offence, if you go to the police they will take it seriously. Examples of stalking include:

  • Damaging property
  • Threats
  • Spying and following the victim
  • Giving unwanted gifts

These acts may seem small when taken in isolation but make up a consistent pattern of behaviour towards a victim that can be frightening.
