"I was told. I was put in my place, and I never ever made a fool of him again...."
I finally did it. I plucked up the courage to buy an outfit from Ann Summers. I knew I had to try something new. I desperately wanted him to want me.
It was a dress with white, Lycra top half with a black tutu skirt attached. Oh wow, it was short, but it looked sexy with the little elasticated tie, police badge and matching hat. I even bought the fishnet stockings, and killer heels to complete the outfit. I so wanted to show I had really, made an effort for him.
I had never done anything like this before, always too scared, too afraid, too ashamed, but when I put it on it felt good. I felt good. It was so tight against my skin but still breathable.
I did my hair in big curls, pinning it to the side, trying my hardest to look sexy but not slutty. I even went all out and spent ages doing my make-up. Oh, I looked better than I had ever looked before, at least I thought I did. I even smelt amazing as I sprayed the perfume, he had bought me for my birthday, all over me. I wondered if he would notice, if he would smell it.
This was it. I looked at myself in the mirror. Yes, I was big. Yes, I had small boobs. Yes, my legs were a little chunky, and my ankles were a little wobbly in these heels. I had never worn heels before, but I felt fantastic. I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw me, and I thought wow. I had really pulled out all the stops and it showed. I couldn’t wait to show myself off to the man I loved, to the man I was trying so hard, for years, to impress, to make him see me, and like me just the way I was. He had to like it; I had spent a lot of money that I had somehow managed to save up and keep hidden from him. I had gone totally all out and that was evident.
I heard the keys turn in the front door. I was upstairs in the bedroom, shaking and nervous, but I had to do it. I shouted his name and told him to come upstairs. Brushing over the dress, straightening the tie and praying I didn’t fall over in these heels.
The bedroom door started to push open and he appeared. I smiled the biggest smile I had ever made.
I put my hands on my hips, with my sexiest voice I purred “Hey babe, wanna play?”
The confidence I had at that point was immense, trying my hardest still to hide my nerves.
He looked at me for a second. A smile began to break on his face, only for a split second though, and then he began to laugh, really laugh. My hands dropped from my hips and immediately my eyes started to well up. I had to hold it together.
“What the fuck are you wearing? You look fucking fat. How much did that shit cost me?!!”
Turning around he stormed out of the room.
As he marched downstairs, he shouted “I’m going to make a brew.”
I was told. I was put in my place, and I never ever made a fool of him again.
